Welcome to Val O’Connor, a teacher of real bread baking

Beyond the Bakers who will always be the core of the network there are many others who are part of it. One category will be restaurants where one or more of the chef’s takes the time to bake real bread in-house for use in their menu.

Another is someone like Val O’Connor who has both written about bread (Bread on the Table: Baking Traditions for Today) and also gives baking courses in The Tannery in Dungarvan as well as regularly in and around Limerick where she is based (watch out for Sourdough and baked beans).
