Hazelwood Bakery, Ballyvaugan Co. Clare

Lesley Mc Sweeney is the person behind this bakery which grew out of the family business during lockdown.

In her own words: Our family business closed due to restrictions I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I decided to bake bread for our local community and farmers markets and grow the business organically.

The breads we produce are made using Organic Flours. Our Country & Seeded loaves are made with Organic Strong wheat flour, Organic Dark Rye & Organic Spelt flour.

Our breads are all hand made using 4 ingredients Flour, Sourdough Starter, Sea Salt & Water then Slow proofed for up 48hrs.
