Wild Flour, Cork

This new Cork bakery was set up by Chris Fahey. In his words:

After making my own sourdough starter almost 5 years ago, I fell in love with the flavour and texture. As I soon realised what I was buying was not real sourdough, baking it myself was the only way.

For a few years I would bake loaves for anyone interested but during the COVID-19 lockdown I decided it’s time to pursue my love of real bread and share it with the people of Cork. You can preorder loaves from my website for pickup at the listed locations.

All my loaves are sourdough (no yeast!) There is a country white, mixed seed and specials that change monthly. Currently supplying a select few cafes. Breads are available from ABC at the English Market Friday and Saturday.
